Welcome to the 15th Korea-Japan Conference on Ferroelectrics.
Since its inception at Pusan National University in 1994, this symposium has served as a meaningful platform for advancing research in ferroelectrics and related fields. Over the past three decades, it has grown into a cornerstone of academic exchange between Korea and Japan, held biennially across major cities in both countries.
The symposium aims to foster the exchange of new ideas and recent research achievements, to educate and inspire the next generation of young scientists, to promote collaborative research between researchers of both countries, and to strengthen the leadership of Korea and Japan within the international scientific community. Through these efforts, the symposium has significantly contributed to deepening cooperation between Korean and Japanese scientists. Many researchers from both countries now play leading roles in the global ferroelectrics community, and the active engagement of young scientists, especially students, continues to shape the future of this field. Supporting and encouraging their participation remains one of the core values of this meeting.
The symposium has been hosted in major cities across Korea and Japan, including Busan, Sapporo, Gyeongju, Osaka, Seoul, Sendai, Jeju, Himeji, Ulsan, Hiroshima, Seoul, Nara, Busan, and Shiga, steadily expanding its reach and impact while strengthening academic ties between the two nations. It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 15th meeting at KAIST in Daejeon, where we anticipate vibrant discussions, new collaborations, and lasting friendships.
